Diving into the process tank of a food manufacturing company

A small leak, a big success: when the sealing foil in a process tank came loose from the tank wall at one corner and water got behind the wall at an undetectable point, the food manufacturing company concerned was faced with a challenge and a solution had to be found quickly.
No sooner said than done - after consulting with Sven Kränzlin, the TAF Diving Services team decided to use the acrylate gel RASCOflex AY108 to displace the water and fill the gap.

Once as much water as possible had been pumped out, the gel was applied carefully and without pressure, while the diver continuously monitored the film to prevent damage. 

Conclusion: the operation was a success! The outside of the pool wall is now dry and the leak has been effectively sealed.
