Lifting of building elements/carriageways

The undermining by water of pavement slabs or concrete slabs ingeneral may lead to settlement, instability and cracking. RASCOflex PU injection products can be used to consolidate and stabilize unsound pavement and concrete slabs. Loose zones below the foundations of buildings, retaining walls or piers, for example, may also bring about structural damage. The bonding properties of RASCOflex PU serve to prevent or at least minimize the washout of material due to the undermining of structures by water infiltration.

The drilling depths for the injections are stipulated by the geologist for each specific project in function of the demands and settlement pattern. Greater depths necessitate phased operations: the injections start at the lowest point before moving successively upwards.
