RASCOflex AY Acrylics – a soft material for tough demands
RASCOflex AY Acrylic resin grouts are used in general building and civil engineering works, including hydraulic structures and vehicular pavements. Their applications include both preventive waterproofing on new-build schemes and remedial waterproofing to combat water infiltration or escape, leakages involving other liquids, or simply to consolidate rock and subsoil. A particular feature of RASCOflex AY Acrylic resins is their hydrophilic behaviour. In other words, after polymerization, they swell locally upon contact with water. Hence, to form a reliable seal, acrylic resins require no adhesion to the joint face. Even soiled cracks and joints can be properly waterproofed without any additional measures.

RASCOflex AY108 is a versatile, environmentally compatible, polyacrylatebased, modified 2-component injection grout.
Use
RASCOflex AY108 is the standard material and lends itself to
practically all waterproofing applications – whether for the
remedial grouting of cracks and joints or, in conjunction with
the RASCOtec injection systems, for preventive waterproofing
solutions.

RASCOflex AY223 is a high-quality, swellable acrylate that combines the latest chemical technologies.
Use
RASCOflex AY223 is mainly used for injection in RASCOtec injection channels, injection hoses, remedial cracks and construction joints. It is characterised by its excellent swelling properties and robust material structure, which makes it ideal for large openings and expansion joints. The material is versatile and can withstand both high water pressure and dryness without losing quality or durability.

RASCOflex AY408 is a versatile, acrylic resin-based, modified
2-component injection grout.
Use
This formulation may only be used in a damp or wet environment.
RASCOflex AY408 is particularly suitable for applications involving
mass injection/high material consumption, e.g. to fill voids or for
grout curtains and consolidating injections behind buried structures.
