Bonded Systems – subsequently fitted preventive joint seals
The bonded RASCOjoint TPE waterbar is used to waterproof construction, movement joints and full surface waterproofing that may or may not be exposed to hydrostatic pressure. Unlike the conventional hypalon waterbar systems, the TPE waterbar does not need to be activated prior to bonding and may thus be applied directly from the roll. The waterbar is bonded to the pre-cleaned base using an epoxy-based adhesive.
RASCObond TPE Waterbar
The RASCOjoint TPE Waterbar is made from a thermoplastic
elastomer (TPE).
Use
The bonded waterbar is externally applied and used to waterproof construction and movement joints that may or may not be exposed
to hydrostatic pressure.
RASCObond EP-Adhesive Filler
RASCObond EP Adhesive Filler is a 2-component, epoxy-based adhesive.
Use
RASCObond EP Adhesive Filler is used for the adhesive fixing of waterbars, structural bonding of precast concrete units and structural strengthening using externally bonded laminate.
RASCObond FLX121
RASCObond FLX121 is a single-component sealant with a high elasticity and adherence, especially composed to withstand the high alkalinity of the concrete.
Use
RASCObond FLX121 is installed right at the place where the problem of wet constructions emerges: at the surface of the construction. RASCObond FLX121 can be applied either on dry or wet concrete, steel, stainless steel, stone, plastic, etc. without requiring a primer.
RASCObond Fixing Adhesive
RASCObond adhesive systems primarily serve as an aid in applying and fixing other RASCOR waterproofing products or strips/sections. They excel, in particular, by their high adhesive strength. The specific applications of the individual RASCObond adhesive systems in some cases vary considerably.
Use
RASCObond fixing adhesive is a solvent-free, 1-component, silane-polymer-based adhesive. It is above all used for installing RASCOtight hydrophilic strip in joints. Although RASCObond fixing adhesive also adheres to damp substrates, the base should, if possible, be dry so as to achieve the maximum adhesive strength.
